SGP Engineering’s foundations date back to 2014, when Mark Solomon began working as an independent engineering contractor. Building on Mark’s trade qualifications and more than 20 years of industry experience, SGP Engineering Ltd was formally established in December 2020.

Based in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, SGP is a specialist engineering business with Mark and Nicole at its core. Together, they are supported by a trusted network of experienced specialist partners and contractors, allowing SGP to bring together the right expertise and the right team for each project.

Our work spans the food, beverage and process industries, with projects delivered throughout New Zealand and across the Pacific Islands. We design, fabricate and install, providing complete project delivery or individual services depending on what each project requires.

For remote and international projects, SGP can mobilise as a self-contained FIFO team. We pack and transport the equipment, tools and materials required, establish ourselves on site and complete the work with minimal disruption to the client’s operation. This proven approach keeps the right expertise on the ground and provides clear accountability throughout the project.
